Industrial Shop Fabricator/Installer Position Responsibility: This person is responsible for supporting continuous improvements efforts of the plant floor, by fabricating, installing, and modifying production and facility assets. Necessary Skills and Abilities: -Combined knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits. -Knowledge of proper lubrication processes and applications. -Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. -Ability to perform troubleshooting techniques to determine cause of mechanical failures and problems. -Understand and properly use all shop tools including cutting, welding, and bending equipment in a safe manor. -Ability to communicate ideas and contribute to methods that promote efficiency and cost savings. -Maintain an adequate personal tool inventory to perform job duties. -Maintain a clean and orderly work and shop area. -Ability to read, understand, and draw circuitry layouts and diagrams. -Welding skills a plus, but not required. Education -High school graduate or equivalent GED. -Technical College Diploma/Associate Degree in Maintenance related area or equivalent work experience and education. Travel Travel with this position is minimal. Occasional travel to support other company sites.
