Job Description
This person leads the development of an environment of BLAST principles and high performance, helping to achieve the mission of becoming the employer and supplier of choice, having specific responsibilities for coordinating interviews for current job openings.
Results Focus
Ensures satisfaction with employee and management by assisting the Employment Center Supervisor with hiring in a timely manner.
Educates new employees on company policies and procedures and ensures that all public contact is made in the friendliest and most professional manner possible.
Provide leadership for creating an environment conducive to teamwork, employee involvement, and overall workforce effectiveness.
Task Responsibilities
Possesses basic knowledge of all local, state and federal employment laws along with corporate policies and procedures.
Assists applicants in completing job applications.
Calls in applicants for interviews, performs interviews and sends applicants out to interviews with hiring teams.
Schedule new hires for orientation. Copy and makes packets for interviews and orientations.
Coordinates hiring with Employee Development areas.
Processes new hire information. Verify social security numbers.
Sets up new hire files and send to the appropriate areas.
Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by the Employment Center Supervisor.
Training Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimal supervision from Employment Center Supervisor.
Computer and technical skills with a proficiency in word processing and related software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Interpersonal skills and a strong drive to make a positive difference in the workplace
