The Riko Method was developed by highly acclaimed and internationally trained concert pianist, Riko. She has been performing in both solo recitals and chamber music concert series in the US, Japan, France, Germany, and Italy for the past forty years. Riko was born in Okinawa, Japan where she began studying piano at age four. Riko has been privileged to be under the tutelage of Walter Hautzig at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, Mack McCray at San Francisco Conservatory, and Edson Elias at Ecole Normale de la Musique in Paris, France.

Job Description:
Implement Riko Method curriculum to one-on-one and semi-private piano in-home and in-studio lessons. Attend instructor training and workshops located in Atwater Village. Prepare for lessons and communicate to Lead Instructor on client progress. Communicate effectively with Administrative Department to discuss scheduling, billing and payroll. Manage time and organize lessons by maintaining a strong rapport with client and parents.
Compensation:
1099 Independent Contractor; compensation will be discussed at time of interview and will be based on experience and credentials.
Requirements:
BA required, pursuing MA preferred. We are seeking highly trained pianists, songwriters, music majors and business administrators to join our growing team. An excellent candidate will engage the clients and families with enthusiasm; uphold professional work ethic and interaction with clients; develop a complex understanding of the Riko Method and engage the clients with enthusiasm.
Locations:
Surrounding LA area, cities including: Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Torrance, and Santa Monica.
