Outside Sales Representative
Winchester Auto Auction (WAA) is currently seeking a full-time outside sales representative to focus on serving and maintaining relationships with our current customer base while developing relationships with potential future customers. Responsibilities include serving as a resource for the existing customer base, cold calling, visiting dealerships, educating customers on new and existing services, and matching inventory to customer desires in order to increase sales.
This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate revenue and meet sales targets
* Provide outstanding customer service to existing customer base
* Maintain and articulate extensive knowledge of WAA services via unscripted responses
* Analyze inventory and research buyer history to drive additional sales
* Work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion to analyze and address potential opportunities
* Utilize account management skills to develop relationships with key decision-makers to identify specific needs
* Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation
* Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
* Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
Qualifications and Experience
* High School Diploma/GED required, college degree preferred.
* 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience preferred
* Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license
* Strong computer ability with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing work environments
* Consultative selling and closing skills or the aptitude to learn these skills
* Demonstrated ability to promote concepts and ideas to create customer demand
