Our client, a influential credit union located in the East Bay is in search of a Full Time Member Services Rep.
This is a Full Time opportunity on a open ended contract basis.
Based on variable needs and within the scope of individual position, provides a wide range of member services by mail, fax, email or phone including: preparing and processing transactions; opening and controlling new accounts; responding to member inquiries and requests; scanning; researching fraud; and cross-selling additional products and services.
Online Banking Rep
*Must be willing and able to successfully perform the essential duties of an OBR, exercise good judgment, successfully perform all duties under minimum supervision, and be a fast learner and motivated self-starter.
*Processes wire transfer requests.
*Follow up and processes pending transactions.
*Audits new accounts.
*Processes IRA renewals, IRA withdrawals and IRA transfers.
*Conducts detailed and complex research into member accounts.
*Serves as a back-up for the Retirement Services Specialist.
*Responds to Email.
*Provides information to members and potential members (verbally and in writing) on all Credit Union products and services.
Banking Service Rep
*Processes daily mail including deposits and loan payments. Examines all checks for proper endorsements, reviewing member’s account to determine whether a hold must be placed using Regulation CC guidelines.
*Sorts and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
*Processes returned/undeliverable mail.
*Scans documents
*Follows up on pending transactions to ensure timely and proper resolution.
*Processes member address changes, audits new address changes.
*Orders check copies and ATM/Debit cards.
*Balances daily work including official checks.
*Audits and stores daily work for the branch.
*Opens and closes accounts.
*Performs member-requested research on accounts.
*Opens and closes share certificates and performs maintenance of certificates.
*Sets up and changes overdraft requests.
*Handles official check stop payments and processes member stop payments.
*Reviews daily and monthly reports in accordance with credit union documented procedures or as assigned by supervisor. Reports errors, discrepancies, and critical information to supervisor in a timely manner.
*If assigned, may provide information to members and potential members (verbally and in writing) on all products and services.
