Industrial Maintenance Technician

We have a full-time opening for a Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Industrial Maintenance Associate needed for long established Pinellas County company

Duties:

• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
• Perform scheduled maintenance during planned assignment.
• Perform mechanical duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair. 
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report these and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. 
• Completes special projects as assigned.
• Participates in continuous education and training sessions to remain current on changes to equipment.  
• Respond to maintenance calls throughout the day and quickly as possible.
• Responsible for follow up on preventative maintenance and PM’s.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Skills needed:

• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment Required to use considerable judgment when performing and planning to perform tasks.
• Self-starter able to work alone and feel comfortable working in a team environment. 
• Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English since all equipment documents are written in English.
• Must have a high school education, five years of technical experience and if possible one year of laundry experience. 
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is a plus. 
• Five years of multi skilled experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems is preferred.

Shift and schedule will be determined. Must have flexibility as to days, evenings and weekends. Starting rate is 16.56/hr
