Cocktail Server - Full-time / Part-time

Interacting with Guests and the Bartenders, our Cocktail Servers help create and host the party!  More than a server of drinks and food, the Cocktail Server becomes a member of the Guest’s party and uses their knowledge to go beyond the Guest’s expectations for service and fun.  Outgoing, fun and friendly make the Cocktail Server a key component to a successful visit!

Specific Responsibilities

• Creates the ultimate entertainment experience for the Guest in the lounge.  Has fun with them and establishes a “regular Guest” rapport.
• Makes suggestions for drink, food and games, utilizing salesmanship to increase check average.
• Ensures that all food and beverages served are in keeping with our standards of quality and freshness.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of the food, beverage and bar menus.
• Assures responsible alcohol awareness and control in the lounge.
• Has a thorough working knowledge of the POS system.
• Has the ability to handle money and make change in a quick and accurate manner.
• Has a working knowledge of the game and attraction operations.
• Has the ability to follow service guidelines in highly distracting circumstances.
• Has the ability to handle Guest dissatisfaction using empowerment and answer Guest questions.
• Responsible for general cleanliness of the lounge area including, but not limited to, using a pan and broom to clean debris, cleaning drinks and/or food spills.
• Above average concern for cleanliness and hygiene; both personal and professional.
• Always give “I’ll be back” service to our Guests.

MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES

• Wipes down the tables and chairs thoroughly and constantly during the shift.
• Keeps your bar menus / table tents clean.
• Keeps the cocktail hutch clean, organized and stocked during the shift.
• Polishes and roll silverware throughout the shift.
• Reports any safety issue to the Management immediately.
• Completes, throughout your shift, all assigned side work and any special cleaning assignments.
• Keeps the floor area clean and free of debris during the shift.
• During slow times, it may be necessary for you to perform other area duties.  Be sure that you read and understand the responsibilities that you will be required to perform.
