SERVPRO Sales & Marketing Representative (SMR)
We are seeking a professional, confident sales person to build business partnerships with local businesses: insurance companies, plumbers, HVAC, property managers, etc. Must be self-motivated, comfortable meeting new people and have excellent communication skills.
As an SMR, you will be responsible for accelerating sales volume by creating new company relationships while further developing existing accounts. We promote high frequency/low pressure marketing tactics.
The SMR will maintain a daily route and have primary responsibilities for compiling and maintaining Centers of Influence (COIs) information and conducting objective-to-objective marketing. He/she will participate in professional Associations for networking, provide lunch and learn sessions and promote Continuing Education (CE) courses to clients.
Hours:
* 20 hours/week with the expectation to grow to 40 hours/week as you build the COI base
* Overtime and weekend when required
* Some travel to our Connecticut regional office for training
Minimum Requirements:
* Sales, Marketing or Customer Service Rep experience a must
* Insurance background a plus
* Experience with Professional Sales or Marketing Association a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
* Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Clean DMV record and reliable auto as you will be using your own vehicle (gas reimbursement)
Pay Rate
Hourly rate plus commission and increases base on merit.
