You're empowered to do your best by leading highly complex operational projects throughout the organization!  Are you a leader and subject matter expert in project management, RFPs, scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation or facilitation?  Lead strategic initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups. As a Project Manager in our IT organization you will complete projects, define performance and results, and mange vendors and service providers.  This role will require travel in excess of 25% to external customers. Travel will be out of state and might be higher during project kick offs.


 


Primary Responsibilities:




  • Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives


  • Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams


  • Predict emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them

Requirements

Requirements




  • Willing to travel a minimum of 25% of the time.


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.


  • 7 or more years Project Management experience in a large enterprise environment (Fortune 200)


  • Experience with distributed technologies & architecture


  • At least 3 years of solid analytical, problem-solving and financial analysis skills


  • Successful track record of delivering programs on scope, on time, on budget


  • 3 or more years of proven experience interfacing and presenting to C level partners (Ability to communicate technology matters to business partners, senior executives, and strategic partners)


  • Must have at least 3 or more years of Budget tracking and complex cost benefit analysis including creation of preliminary and final project cost estimates

 


Assets




  • Health care insurance background is a strong plus


  • Experience responding to RFPs


  • Prior experience working for a professional services consulting firm 


  • Prior experience in an external client facing role


  • PMP Certification or exposure to multiple PM methodologies


  • Process implementation & re-engineering
