We are Steven's Philly Cheesesteak, a well-established small quick-serve restaurant that has been offering locally sourced, made-from-scratch Cheesesteaks and committed to great customer service since 1989. Everyone at Stevens works hard and enjoys the satisfaction of a job well done. We all contribute towards a common goal of providing a great customer experience. No politics. We currently have positions available for Cashier and Kitchen Prep. This is a stable long-term position for the right candidate(s).
For our Cashier/Kitchen Prep position, experience in a busy restaurant is preferd. Above all, candidates should possess excellent communication skills, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, like to learn, and want to grow with us.
We provide competitive pay, plus tips and paid on-the-job training to all employees. We also offer free meals during work shifts and discounted meals (15%) for family and friends during off work hours.
Qualifications
* Bright, energetic and outgoing
* Able to deliver outstanding customer service
* Anticipate Customer Needs
* Basic Math Skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc.)
* Ability to multi-task
* Maintain neat and clean appearance
* Ability to memorize codes for cash register work
* Reliable transportation
Skills/Requirements:
1. Be physically able to work an eight (8) hour day while on your feet
2. Ability to consistently carry 30 lbs.
3. Have ability to perform basic mathematics
4. Excellent customer service skills
5. Must be able to reach to 5 1/2' minimum.
6. Show sharp attention to detail
