General Helper
Moves materials and supplies to and from workstations to ensure materials and supplies are kept up with production schedules.
Follow Safety Regulations and Work Rules handbook along with all departmental specific safety requirements.
Move materials and supplies in and out of departments as indicated on routing ticket by using a hand truck or other devices.
Communicates material and supplies needs to manufacturing and supervisory personnel.
Read and follow the information on work instructions.
Sort and stack incoming material and supplies and re-stack material and supplies before being transported.
Maintains material and supplies records as required.
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and pull behind, hoist.
Record data either manually or by computer as required.
Maintain quality and productivity requirements.
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Various hours are available for this upcoming opportunity, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
