Production/Maintenance Supervisor
The Production/Maintenance Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of production personnel as well as the maintenance technicians engaged in packaging beverage products for storage & shipment, including providing leadership, direction and facilitation on multiple high speed production lines.

Position Responsibilities
1. Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
2. Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
3. Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
4. Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
5. Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and record.
6. Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
7. Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
8. Make recommendations for long term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability.
9. Drive the continuous improvement agenda in area of responsibility through teamwork, skills and capability development.
10. Assures equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity and product quality.
11. Guide and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting production equipment when necessary.
12. Implements process enhancements to improve package changeover and line efficiency.
13. Supports/provides training to improve capability of maintenance technicians.
14. Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
15. Manage and facilitate employee and management relationship within the guidelines of the labor contract and company policy.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• 3 years experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical or chemical industry
• 2 years of mechanical/electrical experience maintaining production equipment. PLC programming knowledge is essential
• 2 years previous management/supervisory experience
• 2 years of experience working with SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, and PM programs such as MP2.
• Pass a drug test, criminal background, verifiable employment verification, social security, and motor vehicle record check
• Work flexible shifts, weekend and overtime as business needs
