Linux Administrator needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Fishers, IN.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Red Hat Linux Administration (RHEL)
- Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Oracle
- SAN, VMWare
What You'll Be Doing:
- Linux Red Hat Enterprise installation, operation and maintenance
- Installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, maintenance and monitoring of production Linux servers
- Plan and implement major hardware and software changes and migrations
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Nine (9) years IT experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and tools, experience in multiple technical or business domains required
- In depth knowledge of server side technologies (Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Oracle, SSH, NFS, BIND, Active Directory, OpenSSL, Hadoop)
- Understanding and experience using the VMware suite of products including vSphere Enterprise, vCenter & VMware tools
- Familiarity with (RAID, SCSI, SAS) (DELL, HP)
- Knowledge of SAN connected systems (EMC, NetAPP, HP 3PAR)
- Support Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments with on-call rotation responsibilities
- Understanding and familiarity with ITIL v3 Framework
