Tax Manager

Salary Range - $85,000 to $125,000 yearly
 

Due to demand, Pittsburgh location is now seeking an experienced Tax Manager, who not only is proficient in ASC 740 Provision and Compliance, but is also active in the corporate tax community at large. This is a growth position for someone who is both technically advanced in their field, and has a natural affinity for business development as they work with clients.

With at least 8 years’ experience in Public, or a combination of Public/Corporate, the ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, people management, engagement management and business development skills.

Technical:
Review complex consolidated and standalone corporate federal and state income tax returns for selected clients;
Handle tax return filing requirements for foreign operations;
Management of engagement from start to finish;
Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects as required, with the goal of minimizing tax expense;
Demonstrate knowledge of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations;
Manage seniors and staff.
Development
Develop and maintain book of business through leadership’s guidance;
Build and manage client relationships, projects, engagement teams and staff;
Promote services and the name into the Greater Pittsburgh area.
Requirements include:
Advanced related education which may include any of the following: CPA, MST, JD or LLM
Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Working knowledge with online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA).
Experience in Corporate Tax preparation software (ex. CorpTax, OneSource, GoSystem)
Experience working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environment.
