This Internship is for Summer 2015



Looking for experience in Integrated Marketing? The Integrated Marketing Communications - Trade Intern will support all Integrated Marketing Communication – Trade Marketing Team Members. The internship provides a better understanding of project management and timelines that are needed to support multiple Sales Channels from In-Market Sales to International Sales.



The Integrated Marketing Communications - Trade Intern at Universal Orlando is responsible for:

  • Assisting in properly and professionally creating Creative Briefs for multiple Sales Channel Marketing initiatives
  • Auditing client/partner websites to ensure representation of UO is up to UO standards
  • Visiting client locations to ensure representation of UO is up to UO standards, receive competitive information, deliver collateral and collect information needed for Creative Briefs
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities
  • Performing other duties as assigned



To perform the role of an Integrated Marketing Communications – Trade Intern successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Consistent attendance is a requirement
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA required
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday; 24 hours per week
  • Must be able to work from June 2015 through August 2015
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility
  • Relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
  • Must be an actively enrolled student for the Summer or 2015 semester as a college Senior or Graduate student
  • Preferred majors include Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or Communications
