Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to be located in Northern Manhattan, NY.
Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to perform administrative and supervisory functions for the NYC Warehouse including Northern Manhattan, in a manner consistent with Time Warner Cable policies, procedures, quality, standards, customer needs and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Reports To:

The warehouse supervisor for Northern Manhattan will report to the Director of Supply Chain for New York City.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assumes direct responsibility for the Warehouse personnel.

- Ensures effective performance, security and documentation and maintains inventory control of tools, parts, and equipment.

- Enforces all Warehouse Policies.

- Ensures timely processing of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to hub

- Timely issue of material to insure that operational goals are met.

- Holds weekly one-on-one productivity meetings with department staff.

- Prepares specific inventory reports in accordance with Finance Department guidelines.

- Ensures compliance with various city ordinances, licenses, and inspections.

- Recognizes, practices, and enforces safety rules and procedures.

- Coordinates timely and accurate delivery of inventory to system offices.

- Coordinates returned inventory testing and processes returns to vendors.

- Cooperates with co-workers.

- Responds politely to customers.

- Works as a member of a team.

- Accepts change in a productive manner.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skill Set:

- Specific warehouse and operations and/or inventory control, construction and cable experience.

- A minimum of three years supervisory experience.

- Able to read and write in English and use arithmetic skills to accurately complete daily assignments.

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with management, co-workers and customers.

- Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing work environment.

- Possess interviewing and training skills.

- Proficiency in personal computer applications.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision.

- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

- Ability to process information accurately in order to follow directions and provide direction to others and possess skills necessary for decision making.

- Must possess a valid driver ' s license and safe driving record.
Education/Experience:

Bachelor ' s Degree in Business, related field, and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Legal/Financial Responsibilities:

Requires adherence to Time Warner Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
