Assembler

The company produces several different kinds of security products for doors in commercial buildings. These include push bars, electronic locking systems and door handles etc. In total they have over 500 products they will run. These will typically be mid to large production runs of 500+ pieces.

The assembly department is where a majority of these systems are put together. This a very lean operation so contractors will be expected to crosstrain and help out in other groups as needed. Tac times typically range between 15 to 30 seconds for each station. There can be 15+ stations in the process of putting together one part.

Most of these stations include using some form of mechanical or air gun to insert screws or put parts together. Contractors need to understand that these are smaller parts that will be worked with daily and it will be very fast paced. Will also be expected to do quality checks throughout the day to ensure pieces are being put together properly.

1st Shift 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime would be before 6:30am

1st Shift Pay $11.00 an hour

2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:00 Overtime would be after 11:00pm

2nd Shift Pay $11.50 an hour
