Production Welders - Full-time / Part-time

Large, Reputable company in the Greenville, TN area is needing welders ASAP. Candidates will be MIG welding in a mass production setting. You will be making 24 welds per unit, producing 4 units per hour. Must be ok working fast paced but also paying VERY close attention to detail. Pay starts at $14 per hour with the opportunity for production and quality bonuses bringing your potential pay into the neighborhood of $17 per hour.

Description Summary:
Performs MIG welding operations in a fast-paced, manufacturing production environment so that product meets defined specifications as outlined on work orders, blueprints, layout drawings, etc. Makes appropriate decisions regarding materials to be used so that material use is maximized and scrap and waste are minimized.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Set-up and operate Mig Welding Equipment
* Completes tack and stitch welds
* Assemble parts to print specifications; close tolerance
* Builds complete fixtures
* Maintain calibrated tools

Required Competencies:
* Experience in Mig welding
* Experience in precision/quality tack and stitch welding a must
* Ability to weld on stainless steel
* Blue Print Reading
* Ability to use and read calipers, height gages, and micrometer
* Knowledge of warpage, shrinkage, and part control

Must be open to working 1st or 2nd shift. Shift times are: 1st-7am to 3pm 2nd-3pm to 11pm
