NOW HIRING ASSISTANT KITCHEN MANAGER

Assist in managing the back of house (BOH) through a commitment to Legendary Scratch-based Food; without the potato flakes and microwaves for every entrée. Each Texas Roadhouse is kitchen stocked with hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs and made from scratch dressings and sides. Assistant Kitchen Managers have the opportunity to support the staff through recipe awareness, commitment to quality excellence and a whole lotta FUN!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Purchasing, receiving, preparing and presenting of food in a timely manner according to current established recipes and procedures.
- Maintaining high food standards, safe food handling and maintaining all costs.
- Ensuring the safety of all employees.
- Training and developing BOH staff.
Requirements
- Minimum level of High School Degree or Equivalent; previous management experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work a variety or hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
