Skills/Qualifications:
Formal training or experience in industrial kitchen cooking and management. Current Serve Safe Certification.
Duties: Overall nutritional needs of the camp community including menu planning, inventory control, vendor relations, time management and supervision of 5-15 assistant cooks and kitchen helpers. The ability to create and supervise three balanced meals per day and snacks for up to 300 youth and young adults. Ability to adhere to State of Maine Health Department and American Camp Association Standards. Ability to live in camp as a member of the camp community.
