This administrative position will be the right-hand person for the Creative Director. This person will assist the designer with all administrative aspects of interior design.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity paying up to $35K/year plus benefits, depending on experience. Benefits include medical and dental, 401K with 5% matching, holidays and vacation pay. Company works an Alternate Work Schedule - four (4) 10 hour days. Typical schedule will be Monday-Thursday, starting between 6:30-7:30 AM; NO WORK ON FRIDAYS!! However, Individual needs to be flexible to work an occasional Friday, as needed, and have a different day off.

TASKS INCLUDE:
Entering data into database, Design Manager, all selections and components selected by the designer.
Check pricing and availability of the selections and meet with the designer to discuss.
Update and review budgets.
Work closely with purchasing team.
Maintain presentation binders with the most current information, once changes have been made.
Manage calendars.
Assist with errands regarding design selections; accessory shopping.
BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years as an Administrative Assistant in a fast paced environment
Education and/or Experience in the design field would be an asset for the estimating duties
Typing at 5O wpm
Efficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to manage calendar in Outlook; should have strong Outlook skills
Efficiency with InDesign software a plus
Great verbal and written communication skills
Great customer service skills
Ability to lift to 25lbs. Requires some lifting of fabrics, wallpaper etc. This is a very small part of this job.
California driver’s license with and insured vehicle. Mileage reimbursement provided - These duties will be after completing the Temporary to Hire period, after hire with the company.
