Requirements


The Quality Coordinator maintains the integrity of the QMS (Quality Management System) for the company. Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, systems, and compliance and surveillance audits, investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management in review of new products, engineering designs, manufacturing processes, and training. Included is maintenance of the gage calibration system, calibration of the gages, (inside calibration and out sourcing calibration), compliance and gage repair.

Responsibilities:

Maintain Gage Calibration records in company computer system in accordance with ISO standards and Gage Calibration Procedures and Work instructions. This maintenance includes gages, fixtures, and test equipment in the calibration records. Purchase of quality items as required.

Achieves quality operational objectives by contributing information and analusis in preparinf and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality and customer service standards; identifying and resolving problems; and developing system improvements.

Validates quality processes by review of product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining performance qualifications; writing and updating quality procedures and manuals.

Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, and corrective actions internally and with customers.

•5 years as a Quality Engineer with experience in Machining or Manufacturing environment. •Experience with process and supplier audits. Strong communications skills with Customers and Suppliers. •Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab helpful; use of internet based data systems. •Experience with process improvements to drive continual improvements in Lean manufacturing. •Experience in FMEA’s, FAI’s and ISO Standards. •Strong understanding of Quality Systems and equipment. •Knowledge of PC-Dimas helpful.
