Lab Technician (Part Time) - Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities

*Weigh compounds for routine and ad-hoc plating tasks in accordance with set deadlines.
*Assist with plate solvating and formatting tasks in accordance with set deadlines.
*Assist with other CLMD lab support tasks such as returning stock to inventory and maintaining general lab cleanliness.
*Adhere to the Chemistry Department common goals for safety, collaboration, record keeping, teamwork, and communication.
*More experienced applicants may be asked to perform more advanced compound management tasks.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

*H.S. Diploma and completion of college-level General Chemistry lab or technology certification program is required. Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
*Demonstrated team-worker who possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work at the lab bench for extended periods of time are required.
