Tank Monitor INstallation Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary (Purpose): The Tank Monitor Installation Technician will install tank monitors on eligible residential and commercial propane tanks. A list of customer names and addresses as well as pre-set monitors will be given to the technician with the expectation of installing 20 to 25 monitors per 8 hour shift. Required Qualifications The Tank Monitor Installation Technician will need to have his or her own vehicle, knowledge of the area they are working in, and ability to do basic screwdriver and gluing. Primary Duties and Responsibilities *Install tank monitors using the directions given *Change out the gauge on propane tanks *Act courteously towards AmeriGas' customers *Be knowledgeable of the use of tank monitors for AmeriGas' distribution *Neatly and accurately record data about the installation site *Neat appearance *Very reliable personal vehicle transportation Weights Handled: Tank Monitor1-3 lbs Paperwork1 lbs Physical Demands: *Walking up to 3 miles per day depending on route. *Bending, stooping, and crouching to read numbers at customer sites. *Carrying paperwork. *Entering and exiting personal vehicle multiple times throughout the workday Working Conditions: *Environmental conditions such as rain, mud, ice, snow, and uneven terrain makes this a physically demanding job.
