Looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to support a facility in Forest Park, GA. The Maintenance Mechanic's main responsibilities include performing installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on all of the manufacturing machinery around the plant.
The Maintenance Mechanic will work on everything from gearboxes, conveyors, chains, bearings, hydraulics/pneumatics; to basic electrical troubleshooting on wiring and motors. The position will be about 90% Mechanical and 10% Electrical, in terms of job duties.
Daily Responsibilities:
*Troubleshoot, repair, modify and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
*Weld, braze, solder and perform simple machine work when required.
*Install and remove machinery as needed.
*Follow preventative and predictive maintenance plans.
*Use a computer and capable of using SAP maintenance software.
*Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
*Troubleshoot basic motor and control circuits.
This is a second shift position (3:00pm - 11:00pm)
