Accounts Payable Accountant reporting directly to the Controller of a multi-unit restaurant franchise. Looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to thrive in a high energy office environment.
CWL Investments is the largest franchisee of Jimmy John's in the country with 26 stores in Michigan, 19 stores in Arizona and 6 stores in California and growing!
Daily/Monthly tasks include:
- Managing all company vendor relationships
- Ensuring accuracy of all company invoices and entering into accounting software
- Overseeing the accounting portion of the company purchase order process for store maintenance
- Auditing weekly store paperwork to protect against fraud
- Assisting Controller with financial reporting
Basic Required skills:
- Business degree, or working towards business degree, preferably Finance or Accounting major
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication (oral and written), team building, and planning skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within time constraints
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork
