Bartender - Seasonal - Full-time / Part-time

This is a hands on position requiring excellent customer service skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced selling environment, while also ensuring our guest have a rewarding experience that will keep them coming back time after time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide excellent and consistent customer service to all customers while completing orders and up-selling services
* Provide assistance during all public to private events and specialty cruises
* Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Sell and serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to customers
* Check identification of customers to ensure they meet New York State's legal age requirements for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
* Receive, record and balance large amounts of cash/credit card receipts accurately
* Responsible for vessels daily liquor inventory reports.
* Advise Supervisor immediately of any customer, staff, crew, inventory or cash management concerns
* Adhere to Company's daily opening and closing procedures
* Assist in the distribution and clearing of food services as needed
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Energetic, friendly and strong customer service/interpersonal skills
* Well groomed individual
* Bartending License and TIPS Certification
* 1 - 2 years of bartending/customer service experience
* Self-starter with ability to work independently
* Experienced in handling cash register
* Strong communication and mathematical skills
* Bi-lingual or multilingual skills are a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Lift up to fifty (50) pounds, unassisted
* Stand for long periods of time
* Bending, stretching and kneeling throughout shift
* Ability to work with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or basic cleaning chemicals
