A manufacturing facility is looking for a Lab Technician for their facility in Grand Haven, MI.
Individual with be responsible for all QC and QA. Will need to be able to determine tint, resin, sheen, durability, run, etc., using multiple tests. Use of a spectrophotomer, particle size analyzer, UV light hood, and other physical testing. Will be required to document and organize all information gathered using various computer systems.
This person will spend 90% of the time within the Quality Lab. The other time will be on the manufacturing floor grabbing samples to be tested. Will be working within a team of 4-5 and responsible for running test independently and with the team. High level of communication and multi-tasking.
A qualified candidate MUST have an Associates in Science with a Bachelors being preferred. Previous lab experience (could be academic) required as well. Will need to have a high level of communication with team and production staff and have strong technical skills with equipment and computers.
This is a permanent and full-time position and will be on an off shift (2nd or 3rd). 5-10 hours of overtime may be required.
