About this job
We have a full-time/part-time opening for a 2nd Shift Coordinator.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Onsite Coordinator
*Operations
oBe visible to all associates and Unilever Line Supervisors
oDevelop rapport and a solid professional working relationship with all Unilever Supervisors and Leadership.
*Training
oSafety awareness program TBD
*PPE compliance
oWearing appropriate attire
oSafety/Steel-toed boots
oHairnet/beard net
oEarplugs
oWearing gloves and disposable vinyl gloves as needed.
*Safety Awareness & Monitoring
oPractice and implement good GMP practices.
oFamiliarize and understand site safety rules and compliance.
oMonitor successful practice of these initiatives through effective utilization of the Safety Observation, Audit, and Risk Assessment Process.
oRecognize good safe work practices to create a positive safety culture.
oRegularly conduct informational sessions to talk about safety incidents, first aids and any other correspondence as needed to educate and create awareness.
*Employee relations
oAssist with payroll issues and concerns and properly advise on how to address/correct those as needed.
oCoordinate and schedule all new starts when they arrive for their 1st day at the site.
oExplain to new starts where to report daily.
oLocate time clocks for new starts and advise on how to clock in each day.
oIssue time keeping badge and enter it into time keeping system.
o Assist new starts with getting to their work station etc.
oAttendance issues
oFamiliarize and apply Manpower polices
oInvestigate any and all personnel issues and complaints.
*Kronos support
oSupport Onsite Supervisor with running kronos sytem reports to enter and verify time as needed.
oFrequently revisit the importance of clocking in/out daily and on time.

*Identify needs
oNotify office to recruit for backfills I.e. cover for people who are scheduled off, reaching 1,000 hour tenure, call-ins etc.
oSchedule new starts as needed and report those new starts to Supervisors as needed to schedule additional training etc. as needed.
oWork with supervisors to gain feedback on associate performance and resolve issues as needed.
oEffectively communicate via phone, email to send correspondence as it relates to general correspondence regarding site needs etc.
oEffectively communicate and send correspondence as needed.
*Duties as assigned
No line relief!
Management experience is required and Manufacturing experience is preffered
