Customer Service Associate (Part Time)
Easy Entrees, a locally-owned business celebrating our 10th year in the metro area, is seeking a friendly and energetic person who loves food and serving others! We make chef-created meals our customers cook at home. We enjoy a caring and fun work environment without the late-night restaurant hours.
Essential Functions:
Provides outstanding customer service to telephone and walk-in customers.
Provides efficient and accurate customer checkout (both point of sale and update of in-house website.)
Enters orders (into our in-house website) placed by customers during your work shift.
Some food preparation (no cooking) that might include (but is not limited to) combining spices, and portioning/bagging of entree ingredients.
Physical Functions:
- Ability to be on your feet for duration of shift.
- Ability to lift up to 20-35 lbs.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood/shellfish.
Experience, Education, and Qualities:
- We are seeking a friendly foodie with exceptional people and customer service skills!
- Prior food preparation/food service experience is helpful and preferable. (You will need to be able to talk about and sell our great food and service!)
- Attention to detail and work accuracy are essential.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Overall comfort level with computer use is essential.
- Ability to work a consistent schedule of 14-18 hours per week on the following days:
Monday 2:30-6PM
Tuesday 2:30-6PM
Thursday 2:30-6PM
Friday 2:30-6PM
Saturdays (1-2 per month) 9AM-Noon
