We are now hiring for general labor workers at reputable production company in Chattanooga, TN. This is a career oriented opportunity that offers extensive training and the opportunity to earn a full time position with a great company.
The position consists of operating a transfer station in a sugar transfer facility. Sugar will be loaded in railcars and employees are required to hook up the necessary equipment to extract the product and transfer it into a dry van trailer. This job is physical, but it also requires attention to detail to ensure safety and quality. The main duties include walking, heavy lifting, and documentation.
Pay: $12 per hour / $18 per hour for overtime. After the 6 month contract pay becomes $13.50 per hour minimum with continual growth opportunities.
Shift: Weekends
Friday 6am to 630pm
Saturday 8am to 830pm
Sunday 8am to 830pm
Monday 6pm to 630am
Employees are scheduled for 48 hours which includes 4-12 hour shifts. Overtime is available up to 70 hours.

Qualifications:
- Good work history including physical labor
- Ability to lift up to 65lbs
- Ability to be on foot for up to 12 hours
- Physical ability to climb stairs repeatedly
- Open to working overtime (Must be willing to work 48 hours or more per week)
