BUSINESS TITLE: Documentation Coordinator
The Documentation Coordinator is part of a Quality Assurance Data and Document Management (DDM) team that administers the company?s controlled documents in accordance with customer and company requirements at each stage of a document's life cycle, from template creation to document authoring, reviewing, publishing, auditing, and ultimately destroying or archiving. In addition, the Documentation Coordinator must help ensure that Documentation Management meets the production schedule of the site so manufacturing never delayed or adversely impacted.
Specific administrative and clerical responsibilities include:
? Operate and maintain the electronic documentation system to ensure the controlled issuance and retrieval of approved CGMP documents
? Perform workflow management of document changes in the electronic documentation system and reviews documents for accuracy and completeness
? Assign and monitor document numbers
? Edit (for format) and make changes in documents using Word
? Maintain controlled access to archives, in compliance with DDM policy, and file, scan, and record movement of CGMP documents To and From document archives
? Help site personnel to understand and fully meet documentation requirements
? Participate as a team member in the Document Strategy room during regulatory inspections of the site
? Issue batch production records to the Manufacturing department in compliance with policies surrounding control of issue and accountability for use and retrieval
