As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a member of a team of architects and developers working on cutting edge web-enabled front end applications, back end .NET applications, and back end JAVA applications used in the medical field. You will have the opportunity to utilize your previous experience building leading-edge user interfaces and back end applications. Your demonstrated design and implementation skills will be applied in this innovative environment deploying commercially viable products. Primary Responsibilities:



  • Architect, design and develop web based software modules of high quality following good software development practices for our SaaS environment

  • Architect, design, develop and maintain high performance and scalable applications

  • Lead software development projects that provide new or enhanced functionality for both internal and external customers

  • Independently design and develop “Proof of Concepts” where new technologies are introduced, researched and proven   

  • Training and mentorship of other technical personnel, providing feedback on code architecture, programming techniques and coding and unit code testing

  • Works with program management, QA and customer support groups  

 


 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technical field or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of designing and building successful web applications

  • Minimum of 5 years of OOD/OOP skills, experience with software development principles, and applying modern design patterns

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile methodology

  • Minimum of 5 years of both Client and Server development in .NET

  • Minimum of 3 years of XML experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of WCF Web/Windows Services design and development experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with multithreaded applications

  • Minimum of 3 years of GUI design experience

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability

  • Customer service oriented with a strong commitment to produce high quality, workable solutions for both internal external customers

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project while handling a variety of tasks

  • Understanding of User Experience Design and the Design Process
