Position Description:
This is a dynamic position for an energetic Clinical Department Assistant to support our positive, fast paced environment. You will be supporting the Clinical Care Advocates within our Latham, New York office located just outside of Albany.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Possess strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Handle confidential information discretely.
- Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Must be flexible and willing to assist others.
- Work independently and be a self-starter who can work within a changing environment.
- Ability to work as a team player with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate strong Customer Service skills in a professional environment.
- Provide accurate and grammatically correct documentation as required (meeting minutes, dictation, mass distribution communications)
- Accurate meeting preparation as needed in advance of events (agendas, catering, meeting support materials)

- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a team environment and flexible to take on additional tasks

- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites and technically savvy to learn new software skills
Requirements
Required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 1+ years of experience within an administrative role
working in a fast paced - Microsoft Outlook: Current proficiency receiving and
sending emails and meeting scheduling
(typically receive 100+ emails daily) - Microsoft Word:
Current proficiency writing and editing documents - Microsoft Excel:
Current proficiency entering data - Must have the ability to learn about new software
- Typing skills/data entry skills are required to enter into the system and taking meeting
- Must have a valid driver license and insurance run
errands when necessary - Must be available to work over-time when needed and
possibly on weekends for special events; Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday
through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Access proficiency is a plus
- Experience within the behavioral health field or medical
insurance industry - Coaching, mentoring or training of others is highly
preferred - On-boarding of new employees is preferred
