Utility Worker - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Utility Worker.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently hiring a Utility Worker for one of our clients in Roanoke, VA! Job Responsibilities: *Perform supporting tasks for high production environment. *Primary duty will be to keep picking aisles safe and clean by removing excess shrink wrap, corrugate, pallets and other debris throughout the distribution center. *Other responsibilities include emptying cardboard/plastic waste bins, sorting and removing pallets from the pick aisles, keep supplies fully stocked in multiple areas, clean assigned areas of Distribution Center to include common areas, and perform other material handler duties as assigned. *May utilize various pieces of equipment including, hand jack, hand tools, pneumatic stapler, tapers, label makers, shrink wrappers, and other general tools. *Adhere to all safety rules & policies. Requirements: *High school diploma or equivalent *Must be able to manually lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis. *Must have experience working around powered material handling equipment. *Worker must have safety shoes. Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00AM-3:30PM Overtime will be required. OT changes schedule from 7:00a-3:30p to 5:00a-3:30p.
