Great full-time Medical Assistant position available in Houston, TX!
This MA will be floating with 4 physicians that work for this client. There are 8 clinics in the Houston area, and the MA will be traveling with the doctors to those clinics. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO DRIVE. They will be traveling WITH the doctors and the rest of their clinical staff.
They will get to the Medical Center clinic at 8am everyday. Around 9 or 9:30, they will leave with the doctor to go to one of the clinics above. They typically come back to the Med Center clinic by 2pm - 3pm everyday, and they stay there until about 6, or when the last patient has been seen.
They will be responsible for front office (checking in, insurance verification, initial paperwork) and back office (checking blood pressure and vitals, taking initial report of patient's health for the physician) job duties.
They will be working from 8:30am - 5:00pm, or until the last patient is seen. So far we have seen that our other contractors have been staying well past 6:00pm at least 3x a week. Their typical work week is about 45-50hrs, so they need to be open to some flexibility.
MUST HAVE:
- MA diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MA
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the OBGYN field
