Description

Director, WD Retail Operations – Large Format

Deliver upon key GOAL metrics with specific focus on building distribution, improving display execution and driving share gains in key categories across multiple customers (Chains, wholesalers & Co-ops) and geographies. Key brands include Mott’s juice, Hawaiian Punch, Clamato, Mott’s sauce, Yoo-hoo, IBC Root Beer and Realemon. Based in Plano, TX, this role will manage a syndicated broker retail team covering total US. This role reports directly to the VP Warehouse Direct, Retail and Sales West.

Responsibilities
  • Manage retail relationship and spend with national broker. Set direction for broker’s 16-20 regional operational managers (ROMs) representing the WD brands in Large Format.
  • Drive strong business alignment between headquarter sales, retail coverage and ROMs.
  • Manage progress against DPS’ GOAL objectives and course correct as needed
  • Collaborate internally with DPS support teams to deliver objectives and incremental opportunities.
  • Through continuous improvement, develop critical tools and processes to deliver DSD-like retail conditions
  • Lead, challenge and monitor the performance of broker’s regional operational managers to ensure delivery of measurable and repeatable results.

Travel Requirement: 50%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years sales leadership experience
  • 5 years with in-store execution in a CPG environment (in both Broker and DSD systems)
