Maintenance Mechanic
This is a temp-to-hire position
Salary: $14 - $16 (depending on experience)
Location: Santa Paula
Our Client is a successful packaging house for produce and has been operating for over 90 years. They have several open temp-to-hire positions for motivated and qualified people. Once hired the company offers an outstanding benefit package
The Maintenance Mechanic will make sure the facility and all equipment is in good condition and downtimes are minimized. The maintenance mechanic is critical in creating a safe work environment.
Job Requirements
-- Bilingual (English/Spanish is a must
-- Must have experience with electrical
-- Must have ability to work on motors, belts and hydraulics
-- Knowledge of general building maintenance
-- Experience with welding is a plus
-- We are looking for a Handyman who takes pride in keeping the facility and equipment in top condition
-- Be able to work flexible hours. You will start at day shift (7.00-3.30). Weekend and Night shifts might follow later
