Discover Financial Services is Hiring for our Customer Service and Acquisition Representative Work at Home positions!

As part of our Military Outreach program, this work at home opportunity is available only for military personnel and their families and those associated with the Dover Air force base in surrounding areas. Training will be conducted near the base in Dover, Delaware; applicants must be willing and able to participate in 5 weeks of full time on-site, paid training. Once the training program is successfully completed, this role will be remote and employees will work from home. Given the limited nature of this special program, all applicants must include their military affiliations on their application.

Qualifications

Customer Service and Acquisition Representatives Role:
Our Customer Service and Acquisition representatives will take primarily inbound Acquisition calls and be able to answer customer inquiries about new accounts and make offers when appropriate. In this role you will have to be compliant with the Federal Fair Credit Billing Act along with Discovers Customer Service policies and procedures. All of our Customer Service representatives will use their Friendly, Helpful, and Refreshing personalities to create an excellent customer service experience for each of our cardmembers.
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Must be detailed oriented.
3. Able to successfully prioritize and multi-task.
4. Able to work in a fast pace and goal oriented environment.
5. Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
6. Team player with desire to excel and grow with Discover.
7. Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make clear and appropriate decisions based on multiple data sources.
8. Professional demeanor and presentation skills.
9. Highly flexible and willing to perform multiple work functions
Position is scheduled to begin April 27, 2015 with a paid five (5) week training which will be Monday through Friday. After training, the hours are Monday through Friday with weekends assigned by management.
