Maintenance Mechanic

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Maintenance Mechanic.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Summary Description: Perform maintenance, repairs, improvements, and equipment testing. Handles special assignments and projects as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor. Works under general supervision. Must exercise initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks Essential Duties: Perform preventive maintenance on packaging, compounding and warehouse equipment. Perform packaging, compounding and warehouse equipment repairs as required (corrective maintenance). Perform training to packaging, compounding and warehouse personnel in the proper use of the packaging, compounding and warehouse equipment. Report and recommend improvements to packaging, compounding and warehouse equipment, procedures and areas of responsibility. Follow up with jobs assigned and complete job assignments within a timely fashion. Maintain a daily professional work relationship with division managers and employees. Follow all safety rules. Follow all company policies. Work Environment: While performing their duties both in and outside of the plant, employee will be exposed to weather conditions, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment is our indoor manufacturing and packaging facility. Professional Qualifications: Qualified candidate will have at least 2 years experience within the Pharmaceutical industry. Ideal candidates will have 2 years experience in a Supervisory capacity. Previous experience/certification working with PLC's is a plus Considerable knowledge of cGMP's. Ability to express ideas clearly in regards to written and oral communication. Ability to independently plan and organize one's own activities. Hours - 2nd Shift Pay - $22.50/hr
