Summary:
The Restaurant Shift Supervisor is responsible for running a shift, including communicating with the restaurant employees, to ensure excellent execution of both customer and food service experiences. The Shift Supervisor will assist restaurant management during service hours with any managerial duties, and will supervise operational activities during non-peak service hours. The ideal Shift Supervisor will have leadership experience, be driven for success and be highly customer focused. Other duties may include, restaurant/shift opening and closing procedures, customer satisfaction engagement, staff motivation and continuous communication.

• Cash handling and customer service experience• Prior supervisory or leadership experience• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and lead coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner• Must possess an adequate command of the English language to include understanding, speaking, reading and writing.• Must be comfortable performing hands-on activities in a compact restaurant environment.• Able to endure prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending and stooping and adhere to proper techniques to ensure safety.• Ability to oversee a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused restaurant through coordination of schedules, problem-solving, maintaining cleanliness, training employees and providing great customer service while managing multiple tasks.• Able to lift and transport restaurant goods and equipment of up to 50 pounds across short distances in the restaurant.• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge are required.• Demonstrated interest and willingness to serve the public in a positive manner at all times.• Willing to work a flexible scheduleCash handling and customer service experience.
