Technical Designer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and implementation of in game AI behaviors.
- Tune and validate those behaviors against design goals.
- Work with team programmers to ensure a fast, robust, and comprehensible AI framework is built.
- Code new systems or tools within the framework. You don't have to be a programmer who can design a framework, but you need to be able to code within one.
- Collaborate with other designers, artists, and programmers on team to deliver products, new experiences, tools, and features.
- Identify new tools and features that would improve the product/workflow, and when necessary, drive work with programmers or producers to get those tools created.
- Consult on a regular basis with Design Lead to align expectations and deliverables.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Experience with C#
- Ability to learn new tools rapidly
- Experience prototyping games or large game systems
- Five (5) or more years of software, media or game design experience, ideally shipping multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritize and communicate feature requests to developers and engineers based on creative goals
- Proven hands-on game design and understanding of design sciences including design deconstruction and prioritization.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Software engineer or developer background
- Experience with writing AI, especially those with fuzzy logic
- Experience in Unity
