The Time Warner Cable Charlotte office currently seeks a Senior Analyst for Billing Operations and Support Department. Below find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary
The Senior Billing Analyst role is to support and configure the in-house information systems that require billing support for provisioning advanced services including PPV and VOD support. Monitor billing system interfaces and work with vendor and in-house owners of applications supporting downstream systems. This position has frequent interaction with end users and must have effective interpersonal communications and problem solving skills.
Essential Job Functions (Describe functions that are performed that are necessary for the company ' s operation at a frequency of at least 60%)
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with all TWC departments and vendors to ensure smooth and reliable operation billing system interfaces and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Work with team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues pertaining to interface set up on billing codes, equipment and PPV/VOD.
- Configure and maintain interfaces for provisioning of services and products within the billing system.
- Participate in project planning and review of new/existing products where applicable as launches and changes are deployed.
- Work with team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals for projects and new products.
- Engage and work to resolve interface and PPV/VOD issues reported
- Ensure all audit policies are met for connectivity, global refresh and reconciliation.
Job Requirements:
- Interface troubleshooting experience.
- Application support experience with Billing Platforms (ICOMS/CSG), Video Provisioning Platforms (DNCS, DAC, HITS), and TWC ' s BPS platform for HSD and Telephony Provisioning.
- Core ICOMS knowledge base
- Experience in creating custom reports using Sequel, QRY400 and other tools.
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Excellent understanding of the organization ' s goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Associate ' s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
