Phlebotomist - Full-time / Part-time

Join Aerotek! Our client is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist in the Columbia, SC area.

This phlebotomist will be placed in a high-volume, fast-paced physician's facility, responsible for mostly geriatric sticks.

Day to day job duties include:

• Sticking 20-30 patients per day, depending on scheduling of patients.
• Venipuncture and capillary sticks on mostly geriatric patients, but patients may range from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Will also collect other specimen samples such as urine samples.
• Will also be responsible for data entry of samples.
• Will utilize MS Word, Excel, and Outlook daily.

This position will receive training at a drawing station on the company-specific equipment and software.

Certification is preferred but not required - if not certified, must have 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.

This position will pay $13-$15, based on experience and is a long-term opportunity. It will typically average 36+ hours per week, Monday - Friday.
