Position Overview:
Active participation working closely with engineering and sales department to support our customer and supplier relations.Ensure accurate, on time availability of material as well as professional and timely communications with vendors and colleagues in Powertronix's fast-paced environment, in order to meet and exceed company goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide accurate pricing for material and freight, based on customer BOM/engineering requirements
- Provide material quotes for design staff in a timely and accurate manner
- Negotiating price and terms with vendors
- Manager AVL and evaluate vendors annually
- Active participation within team to ensure accurate inventory control and allocation of materials
- Work independently and with team members in order to provide customer satisfaction
ideal candidates will:
- Have experience with electro-mechanical components
- Take pride in their work and time management working in an effective and efficient manner at all times.
- Takes responsibility and initiative role modeling company culture of Integrity, Accountability, Passion, Persistence, etc.
- Communicate clearly (verbal and written)
- Has a positive "can do" attitude, who enjoys a challenge and wants to learn and grow within the company
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience working with purchasing/negotiations related responsibilities
- Associates Degree
- Authorized to work for any employer
- References from past employment
