We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Cost Accountant - Manufacturing.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
$48,000 $55,000, depending on experience.
Be involved in all decisions relating to the financial performance of manufacturing facility. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to work closely with HQ & grow with national company!
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelors degree or equivalent from four-year college/university AND 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
-CMA or CPA a plus
-Cost accounting experience in manufacturing required
-Strong (advanced) MS Excel skills
-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports
-Requires excellent written and verbal communications. Strong computer skills
-Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
-Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
-Resourcefulness in solving problems, strong organizational skills; keen attention to detail
-Strong work ethic, superior professionalism
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for reflecting the financial acumen for the operations and become a business partner to all analytics as it relates to the products, activities and support function of this manufacturing facility and product lines produced.
-Perform all Financial and Accounting activities to support manufacturing operations
-Creation and maintenance of daily, weekly and monthly metrics in support of the local management team
-Perform month-end close transactions
-Prepare required financial analysis reports and activities
-Assist the A/P and A/R staff as needed
-Perform internal audit procedures and assist with Corporate and external auditors for year-end requirements
-In general, act as the support arm for the Operations Controller; involvement in all decisions relating to financial performance of the facility.
