Test Technician

A medical device manufacturing company located in Goleta is searching the following qualifications:

Support the manufacturing department in the assembly and/or testing of medical devices, components and manufacturing processes to produce cost effective quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support Manufacturing in the daily production testing of camera video systems.
* Directly responsible for the production FCO (Final Checkout), electrical test process.
* Capable of testing electronic components, sub assemblies, and video systems.
* Test product using computer programs, Digital Multi Meters, Oscilloscopes, light measurement equipment, waveform monitoring equipment, digital and analog electrical test equipment.
* Perform detailed electrical test procedures and document device history records per Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.
* Participates in product, process and company training activities in support of medical device manufacturing.
* Manage tasks related to multiple production duties, prioritize and respond to special assigned duties.
* Record test failures and document for MRB, repair or component replacement.
* Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or processes.
* Sets-up and operates a variety of hand-operated tools and electronic equipment to manufacture product specified on work orders using standard work instructions and Inspection procedures.
* Performs inspection of work completed and documentation to assure correct specifications and functional criteria have been met.
* Performs or initiates any cleaning in work area or maintenance required by the Preventative Maintenance schedule on the machines within the department.
