About this job

Aerotek is looking for Assemblers with a minimum of 6 months of electronic assembly experience. Contractors will be assembling slot machines and other electronics for our client, this is all done in a warehouse environment and is an open-ended contract. During peak season there will be 1/2 hours of OT required per day and also possible OT working day on Saturday as well. All candidates will be required to go through a screening and interview process and will have to take an assembly test with our client. Any experience with assembling cell phones and tv's will work perfectly, as long as there is a minimum of 6 months of experience.

Job Descriptions/Requirements:
- Positions and assembles parts according to verbal instructions, written directions, reading blueprints and schematics, sample visual aids or knowledge of units being assembled.
- Follows instructions as provided in the workstation and/or directions from the Lead Assemblers, Sub-Line Leads and Manufacturing Management.
- Performs simple assembly and testing of game machine components to ensure satisfactory performance.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips or other fasteners using hand and/or power tools or specialized equipment.
- Disassembles, partially or completely, slot machines and/or various assemblies or component parts for all products.
- Makes modifications or repairs as directed or indicted by state of configuration of machines and/or assemblies or component parts, using hand and/or power tools and specialized equipment.
- Sets up or takes down work station daily or as required making sure area is clean, and organized tools stored, power tools charging, floor swept and debris disposed of in appropriate location.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of machines to and from transportation carrier.
- Maintains expected output quantity/productivity of production line.
- Maintains high standard of quality
- Participates in company health and safety programs and complies with all company OSHA policies and procedures.
- Complies with the company's regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times.
- Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.
- Reports hazardous conditions to Production Supervisor or Lead on duty at the time of incident.
- Reports any job-related injury or illness to management and seek treatment promptly.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products and employee information
