Quality Control Chemist

Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking qualified candidates for 2 immediate needs. ��These are 2nd shift QC Chemist opportunities that have a good chance of going permanent. ��

Job Description:

- Analyze Raw Materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability samples, and complaints using in-house and compendial methods.
- Operate a variety of laboratory equipment during analysis according to cGMP guidelines.
- Perform calibrations of laboratory equipment on a daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, etc. as required schedule.
- Maintain equipment in good operating condition by taking care of, cleaning, and storing the equipment appropriately
- Will be performing NIR, pH balance, UV-Vis, dissolution, disintegration, FTIR, HPLC, GC

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology or other health-related field, or demonstration of equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a cGMP Quality Control Laboratory
- General laboratory equipment experience (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, IR, TOC, KF)
