RESPONSIBILITIES
Must demonstrate the ability to set up, run from start to finish, shut down, thoroughly clean out and prepare for change over as needed on at least one of the machines used in manufacturing. Some operators will be able to run more than one machine depending on the type.
Label and palletize manufactured products.
Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and barrel handlers.
Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control.
Clean production equipment on an as needed basis.
Assist with identifying areas to improve efficiency.
Assist in setting up production lines and moving production equipment as necessary from line to line.
Assist with physical inventories.
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Record data and information as requested by supervisor, including but not limited to time tracking.
